To say things kind of catch up on me is an understatement...ha.
Each year on Christmas Day, we go to our church, St.John's in the morning and then walk along the promenade on the North Shore to another church in the circuit, St.David's.
A Christmas Day lunch is held there each year and for the last few years we have gone along as a family, to help out and join in the worship there. On Christmas Day there were about 80 people catered for, and Nicola (my eldest daughter) and me, were the waitresses!!! Our two ministers, Nick and Mike led the carols whilst we made the last minute preparations. Berenice(Grasshopper Singing), has helped out in the past too. Thanks B. It is so nice to all share the day together, at church. There are many people who live alone or who have disabilities, who would otherwise spend their day alone. Much nicer for us all join together on such a special day.
The horse and carriage you see on the promenade in the pictures, is for hire every Christmas Day and takes the route along the seafront.
The bouncy Christmas hats...I bought them for everyone to wear over the Festive period...there is a picture of me wearing one, but I can't seem to find it!!! Ha.
